Top Secret Client

Apparel Studios should be the a “black ops” division of the CIA. We have just been asked to work with a client so high-tech, we’re not even allowed to talk about them. We even had to sign a waiver. We could tell you, but we’d have to kill you.

Look for more information soon…

Merry Christmas!

Apparel in the Non-Profit Sector

We love working with non-profits because we get to partner with organizations making a big difference in the world. This year we’ve gotten to work with several great organizations and look forward to helping them grow.

Go International is a missions organization that has a unique approach to evangelism. Aside from standard missions work, Go focuses on providing long-term partnerships in foreign countries to not only spread the Gospel, but also work with indigenous leaders to provide a better standard of living. They work on everything from medical programs to building wells to creating schools, and improve quality of life. We’re getting ready to print their new collateral materials soon!

Homes of the Indian Nations (HOINA) has been making a huge impact to the people of India for nearly three decades. Their primary agenda is providing food, a home and education to India’s forgotten children. Their donors sponsor hundreds of children as well as their programs for widowed women, the sick and poor and many others. We were approached to develop a web solution for them. Our plan was to first present information about their ministry and accomplishments. We then created a solution to enable donors to give online, as well as sponsor a child. Integrating with Google checkout, we provided this solution with security and simplicity.

We’ve just begun work with Northwest Haiti Christian Mission, and we’re so excited about this partnership. NWHCM accomplishes so much for the people of Haiti. Everything from hurricane relief to building schools to leading short-term construction and evangelism trips is all in their focus. Look for their website to launch later this year.

Apparel Gets Wet

It’s been a fun summer! (And, we’ve dragged it out as LONG as we can!) Apparel’s Jason Parmer was very excited to get his feet wet (literally) combining his two loves: media and water. With the first summer shoot taking place in Cozumel, Mexico, Jason worked with client New Horizons Diving and friends to produce a promotional video of the trip. It doesn’t get much better than diving in crystal clear water with gorgeous reefs all around! (The food wasn’t bad either!) In Mexico, we “sort-of-live-blogged” the trip (when Internet was available and we weren’t too busy diving.) You can read about the trip and view the video on New Horizons’ site.

Later that summer, we worked with good friends in Florida to produce a promotional video for wake-surfing hotshot Jaq(eline) Croce. This fairly new watersport (nothing like wakeboarding) has all the thrill of surfing without having to wait for the perfect wave. We’re working with Jaq and her current sponsor, Phase5, to basically make her the “Roxy Girl” of wakesurfing. Jaq currently defends the #2 spot in world wakesurfing. (Final video coming soon.)

Needless to say, it’s been a great summer! Although, with temperatures in Lexington STILL in the 80s in October, who says summer’s over?

Apparel Celebrates with Paradise

We were so excited to celebrate with our longtime clients and friends at Paradise Arabians. This year at the Lexington Egyptian Event, Paradise made history for themselves, and we were proud to be a part of it! They brought home 10 CHAMPIONSHIPS, 5 Reserve Championships, and 10 Top Ten ribbons, all while celebrating a record sales year! Read more about their victories here.

We were also excited to double their web traffic by providing daily show updates on their website for clients and friends. Congrats to everyone at Paradise!

Lexmark At Work

We were very excited to be brought on by the team at Wilmore-based Cre8tive Group to produce an four-video high definition kiosk presentation for Lexmark International. The series, “Lexmark at Work” demonstrated their products, and how printing less can save money as well as the environment.

Latest Launch: Triple Play Productions

If you’re looking for dynamic, pro-sports-feel photography for your student athlete, look no further than Triple Play Productions! Triple Play approached us needing a site that made portfolio and content updates simple in-house, and also showed off their wide range of photography and graphic design services. Built using a content management system, the Triple Play team can easily make changes to their site directly within their web browser with no software or HTML experience necessary!

Paradise Cay Site Launch

If you’re looking for a tropical getaway, you won’t have to travel very far. Apparel just launched South Carolina-based Egyptian Arabian horse breeder, Paradise Cay Arabians’ website. We were very excited to work with Bill and Cheryl Corcoran Paradise Cay, and our only regret is that work on their site made us want to retreat to the islands WAY too much! Congrats, Bill and Cheryl!
